Overall, the Successful Candidate will oversee and support the operation of the group fitness program and work with the Gym Manager to develop a corporate fitness program.Specifically this will include the following tasks:Co-ordinate current insuructors and ensure delivery of scheduled classesDevelop and deliver new fitness classes in order to encourage new membership participationWork with the Gym Manager to develop and market a corporate fitness programmDeliver certain aspects of the Corporate Fitness Program including NutritionWork with the Assistant Manager to develop a PR strategy for the company.In addition to this the candidate will help to mentor and develop junior staff and identify staff for training opportunitiesRequirements: Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in Personal Training.Candidate must possess Qualifications in delivering Zumba Group Fitness ClassesCandidate must possess Computer Skills and be familiar with MS OfficeRequired language(s): EnglishAt least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Applicants must be willing to work in Port Moresby.Full-Time position(s) available.The company is offering a 6 month contract with an option to increase this to 12 months and beyond.In addition to the salary package, the company will offer accommodation and transportation to anf from work as well as a [erfpormance based bonus package.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Wafi Golpu Project - Morobe Mining Joint Ventures - Papua New Guinea
Advertised: 22-2-12 | Closing Date: 23-3-12Morobe Mining Joint Ventures (MMJV) is a partnership between Harmony Gold and Newcrest Mining to explore and develop mines in the Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea (PNG). The MMJV consists of the Hidden Valley Joint Venture, which operates the Hidden Valley Mine, the Morobe Exploration Joint venture, which operates the exploration activities in the Morobe Province and the Wafi-Golpu Joint Venture, which operates the Wafi-Golpu project. The Wafi-Golpu Project is currently conducting a prefeasibility study and has also commenced early exploration access activities. It is envisaged that the pre-feasibility study will be completed towards the middle of 2012. Subject to a successful feasibility study, it is expected that Golpu will be mined using a block cave bulk underground mining method with an indicative processing plant capacity of 20-30Mtpa.Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Wafi Golpu Project

Reporting to the Geotechnical Superintendent, the position is responsible for supporting the Geotechnical Superintendent in managing all geotechnical aspects of the Wafi-Golpu site operations and data collection activities for Pre Feasibility Studies and Feasibility Studies.Key roles and responsibilities include: Management of site based geotechnical data collection programsGeotechnical core loggingHydrogelogical test programs (packer testing, pump testing, pezometer, etc)Rock strength testingEstablishment of procedures and systems to facilitate the timely and consistent collection of high quality geotechnical dataMentoring and training of geologists and geotechnicians in the art of geotechnical engineeringManagement of geotechnical databases and value adding of data with interpretationAssistance with preparation and management of budgets and project schedulesEstablishment of geotechnical management plans for Decline development surface road and drilling activatesProvision of senior geotechnical management while the Geotechnical Superintendent is off siteRequirements:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:Degree qualified in Mining, geotechnical or equivalent engineering streamFive years experience in a similar role in a mining environment with surface mine infrastructure backgroundProject Management Professional certificationWell developed facilitation skillsWell developed change management skillsWell developed written and oral communication skillsWell developed coaching and mentoring skills This role is FIFO to PNG on a 16/12 roster.
