Graphical Interface Designer

Responsibilities:
The Graphical Interface Designer is primarily responsible for high-quality designs, graphic, mock-ups and layouts for both new and existing SunFish applications. He/ she also designs and creates DHTML/HTML prototypes, visual interfaces and interaction graphic layers of our software. He/ she will work to actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness and desirability of SunFish application in collaboration with Development Team, Quality Assurance team and Marketing teamRequirements: Bachelor degree in Visual Design or Computer Science or equivalent discipline requiredExperience in web design / development, with specific expertise with web-based applications and minimum 10 website application portfolio design.Proficient in use of Apple Mac OS or Windows with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Premier) and Acrobat, Quark, Freehand, Corel Draw or equivalent Fluency with web standards and technologies, including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, Cold FusionFamiliar with GUI design and dynamic UI creationKnowledge of usability and coding practices for accessibility Strong web graphics production capability and experience with Flash and PhotoshopCandidate must be a creative person for problem solving, innovation and issue resolution Excellent verbal and written communication skillsFor registered JobStreet.com users, to apply online or via sms
