Work with the Head of School to ensure effective maintenance of appropriate records, including students' files, and to ensure that these are passed on when students transferMark registers and make regular checks of attendance and punctuality and initiate action where  necessaryGet to know students in the form classTeach and co-ordinate whole year class activities to unite the classMonitor the progress of students and induct new-comers to the yearInsist on high standards of co-operation and behavior and initiate action as necessaryMaintain an overall view of individual student’s homework habits and intervene as requiredKeep parents informed of students' progress and make contact and invite in as necessary.Liaise with the school counselor and other faculty as and when is necessary in promoting the well-being of the studentWork with other faculty as necessary to ensure that academic monitoring of students is carried out efficiently and effectively
